The inspiration for Azulu’s Resort ’25 comes from the mesmerizing dance of the seas... As a brand, founded on San Andres island in the Colombian Carribean, we’ve always had a close connection to the ocean, so, very frequently, and especially for the Resort collections, we tend to come back to it. The name of this collection is Nami - which means wave in Japanese, making homage to another island culture that has a significant connection to the sea, woven throughout its culture and traditions. Many of the shapes found in the collection are inspired by the movements found on the surface of the ocean... Waves come transient, yet are always there, rising and falling. They scatter the light, the hue of the water ever changing but always familiar.
